To test this solution, Carrier Philippines sent us a Smart+Cool System (Carrier Window Room Aircon + Smart+Cool Plug + Smart+Cool App) which contains a window-type inverter air conditioner and a Carrier Smart+Cool plug. The Carrier Smart+Cool plug is basically a wall socket adapter for your aircon unit but with smart features. For those interested, the Smart+Cool system is available as bundle (Carrier Window Room Aircon + Smart+cool plug + Smart+cool App). An embedded SIM (eSIM) is essentially a SIM baked in your phone’s motherboard that is tied to a carrier, this eliminated the use of traditional SIM cards. This would mean that one single eSIM would be able to connect to 2 different carriers simultaneously. The advantage of having MEP is that it would make switching between carrier networks far easier.
