It works just like the Cherry Ion and aims to protect the user from harmful airborne particles like viruses, allergens, cigarette smoke, pollen, and dust, by releasing millions of negative charged molecules or atoms called anions in the air. While the Cherry Ion can emit 50 million negative ions, the Cherry Ion Lite can only emit about 20 million negative ions.
