MediaTek has unveiled its new Kompanio Ultra 910 chipset, aimed at boosting the performance of Chromebooks. MediaTek says that Chromebooks powered by the Kompanio Ultra will be available “in the coming months.” AMD has just announced a new line of Ryzen processors designed for Chromebooks, the Ryzen 5000C. The new processors are designed to have at least 8 hours of battery life and features the highest core count for Chromebook devices ever. These new Ryzen processors will make its debut in select laptops starting in June so stay tuned for more details. Smart Bro is now offering under its Gadget Plus Plan 999 the Acer C720 Chromebook, sporting an 11.6-inch HD display, dual-core Intel CPU, and powered by Google's Chrome OS. Just when we thought that Chromebooks are in a decline and that the Samsung Chromebook priced at $249 is cheap, here comes the new Acer C7 Chromebook with a $199 price tag. The Acer C7 Chromebook features a full-size keyboard, fully clickable trackpad, an extra bright 11.6-inch display and over 3.5 hours of battery life.
