Google announces Acer Chromebook for $199

Just when we thought that Chromebooks are in a decline and that the Samsung Chromebook priced at $249PHP 14,613INR 21,103EUR 237CNY 1,812 is cheap, here comes the new Acer C7 Chromebook with a $199PHP 11,678INR 16,865EUR 190CNY 1,448 price tag.

The Acer C7 Chromebook features a full-size keyboard, fully clickable trackpad, an extra bright 11.6-inch display and over 3.5 hours of battery life. It is powered by an Intel Core processor, boots up in 18 seconds and can play videos in 1080p. For storage, the C7 has a 320GB hard drive and 100GB of free storage on Google Drive for 2 years.

The Acer C7 Chromebook will be available for $199PHP 11,678INR 16,865EUR 190CNY 1,448 in the U.S. on Google Play starting on November 13.
