The City of Manila, in partnership with Globe Business, will offer BatangMaynilaSurf data plans to public school students for distance learning. Pre-activated upon distribution, its monthly data allocation refreshes through its Load Up platform. The data plans will be equipped on Globe SIM cards that will be given to qualified public students of Manila City. According to Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, the city will distribute 110,000 tablets equipped with Globe SIM cards and 11,000 laptops paired with Globe pocket WiFis as preparation for blended learning set by the Department of Education. “We hope that through this initiative and with Globe’s relentless service, more public school students and teachers can maximize digital tools to create conducive and safe learning environments,” shared Manila Mayor Isko Moreno.
