City of Manila launches mobile app for taxes, permits, documents

The City of Manila launches GO Manila, the LGU’s one-stop mobile app for its e-services.

The initiative aims to provide a fast, effective, and convenient application of documents, as well as filing and payment of taxes, permits, and other financial services. Apart from keeping the public safe from the pandemic, the app cuts down the processing time of the documents.

Currently, the mobile app offers online application and payment of the following documents: Community Tax Certificate, Real Property Tax, Business Tax, Birth Certificate, Occupational Permit, and Health Certificate.

According to the GO Manila website, the app is soon to add other services on the platform such as online payment for ordinance violations of motorists, electronic management and administration systems for hospitals and health centers of the city, social amelioration programs for beneficiaries, and public markets; as well as an online job board for employment. Users may also enjoy the app’s PIN for security and e-wallet feature for loading, sending, and receiving of funds.

The GO Manila app is now available on Android devices through Google Play. For the meantime, iOS users may visit the City of Manila’s website to enjoy the services.
