Sue Geminiano, one of the company’s executives, said the move is part of adapting to the digital world while keeping prices affordable. Christian Estrellado added that the app is designed to be faster and easier to use, with a simple login process.
The company also said that user data is protected, highlighting its focus on privacy and security. The app will not replace the existing website, but will offer added features for mobile users.
Hotel Sogo has been known in the Philippines for its budget-friendly rooms and themed options, including its popular Hello Kitty room. With the launch of the app, the company continues to improve how customers book stays while keeping its services accessible.
