The patent describes a compact camera with an integrated three-axis gimbal, a fixed lens, and a built-in screen housed within a handheld grip. DJI recently updated its Osmo Pocket lineup, while other brands are also exploring compact, creator-focused camera systems. Fujifilm has introduced the instax mini Evo Cinema, a new hybrid instant camera that blends photography, short-form video, and instant printing into a single creative tool. The instax mini Evo Cinema features a retro-inspired design reminiscent of classic 8mm film cameras, paired with modern conveniences such as a 1.54-inch LCD screen, selfie mirror, self-timer, integrated flash, USB-C charging, and microSD card support. The instax mini Evo Cinema hybrid instant camera is set to arrive in early February 2026, priced at $409.95 USD and $479.99 CAD.
