ADATA Technology has recently unveiled a groundbreaking line of cooling solutions for PCIe Gen5 solid-state drives (SSD) during the Computex 2023. The solutions are designed to address the challenge of managing the high degree of heat generated by high-performance SSDs. To keep the SSD cool, the cooling solution requires a dual-system design featuring both liquid and air cooling. According to ADATA, the "patented dual-cooling heat dissipation" system can lower SSD temperatures by an additional 20% compared with fan-type heat dissipation fins without liquid cooling.
