Corning Incorporated has announced a new category for its scratch-resistant and durable glass composite products—Corning Gorilla Glass with DX and DX+. According to Corning, its Gorilla Glass with DX and DX+ provide advanced optical performance, superior scratch resistance, and durability compared to regular smartphone lens covers. They also mentioned that Samsung will be the first customer to adopt the Gorilla Glass DX product for camera lens covers. Samsung's latest flagship device, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, introduces the newest Corning Gorilla Armor 2. Samsung Electronics and Corning Incorporated unveils Corning Gorilla Armor 2 that is featured on the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Corning extends its glass technology to the PC market with the announcement of the Gorilla Glass NBT - the company's latest cover glass designed to help protect touch-enabled notebook displays from scratches and other forms of damage that come from everyday handling and use. In fact, for just 1 to 2 percent of a notebook’s retail price, consumers can now get the best cover glass solution: a Gorilla solution. Meanwhile, Dell has also announced that it will be using the Gorilla Glass NBT on its newest products.
