Dell's upcoming tablet-like mobile internet device has been officially named the Mini 5, perhaps due to the fact it's got a 5-inch screen (although Dell claims to be doing other sizes as well). The Mini 5 will have 3G, Bluetooth, WiFi running a customized version of Android OS 1.6. Photos via Pocket-Lint Dell says this is just a technology concept (read: prototype) so the exact details are still sketchy and we might not even get to see it in stores any time soon. Items inside the box include a phone case, polaroids, poster, photo binder, handheld fan, and a signed mini postcard. Dell's UMPC flagship unit is now called Inspiron 910 (formerly dubbed the Dell E and E Slim series) and is reported to be launching on the 22nd. According to Gizmodo, Michael Dell is secretly lugging what could be an Asus Eee PC 900 or HP Mini-Notebook 2133 competitor. It looks like an 10" Dell Inspiron mini-laptop to me. Pictures were taken by Gizmodo during the All Things D conference: There are no details (except for the 3 USB ports, LAN ports and card reader) about the prices and specs of the mini-notebook but my guess is that this is a 10-incher UMPC.
