#Discord user data compromised

Data stolen includes names, usernames, emails, IP addresses, billing details, and support chat logs. More concerning, however, are driver’s licenses and passports submitted by users during Discord’s age verification appeals. Security researcher vx-underground claims the number of compromised IDs may reach into the millions, though Discord has not confirmed this. Discord says it is directly emailing all affected users. A new data breach has reportedly exposed the personal information of 17.5 million Instagram users, raising fresh concerns about account security on Meta’s platforms. According to cybersecurity firm Malwarebytes, the leaked data includes usernames, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, and other sensitive details. GCash states that the alleged dataset does not match the data structure used in their records, contains many incomplete or invalid entries, and includes individuals who are not GCash users.
