Disney+ and Hulu have announced that they will raise their prices for subscription soon. Bob Iger, the CEO of Disney, has stated that Disney+ would have their price raised for their premium ad-free service. Hulu is also raising their prices to USD 17.99 for their subscription. Disney has also released a Duo premium subscription that will include an both Disney+ and Hulu. Viewing Disney+ with ads will arrive in Europe and Canada soon according to Iger. Disney noted that the Hulu streaming app is ‘fully integrating’ into its Disney+ platform. Hulu’s existing TV subscribers by then will be migrated over to Fubo, a joint venture majority-owned by Disney. Hulu is positioned to become a global general entertainment brand.
