The Department of Tourism (DOTr), together with Toyota, has unveiled the new modern public utility vehicle (PUV) prototype. In photos posted through the DOTr's official Facebook page, members of the agency, as well as representatives of Toyota Motor Philippines, tested out the Hilux modern PUV Class 1 prototype. DOTr also mentioned that the Class 1 vehicles are priced at PHP 998,000. DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade stated: Modernization is not expensive, provided you make the right choice. https://www.facebook.com/DOTrPH/posts/1512701475535650 Department of Transportation (DOTr) has announced on its Facebook page that it will be unveiling its prototype designs of its jeepneys today to provide commuters a modern, safe, clean, and environment- and PWD-friendly PUVs. DOTr pointed out that PUVs before aren't safe for commuters since they are dated, crowded, and inconvenient.
