The Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines or eVAP has announced that the 9th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit will be held on August 26 and 27, and like last year, will be held online. The summit’s theme this year is “Accelerating the Switch to Electro-Mobility in the Philippines.” According to eVAP president Edmund Araga, the summit will focus on fast-tracking the adoption by the local transport sector of electric vehicles. Day 2 will focus on discussions about the manufacturing of electric vehicles and batteries, the establishment of charging networks and infrastructure, viable business models, and the financing for EV programs. The movie will revolve around the true story of Jann Mardenborough, a teenager who went from playing Gran Turismo to eventually becoming a professional racing driver.  Finally, Sony Honda Mobility took to the stage to reveal their new electric vehicle brand – Afeela together with the first prototype. But the controller and the new electric vehicle are some things we’re excited about from Sony this 2023. Xiaomi has announced its official entry into the electric vehicle business with a registered capital of CNY 10 billion. The Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi Corp is expected to launch a smart electric vehicle business soon. Lei Jun, the Chief Executive Officer of the Group, will work as the Chief Executive Officer of the said smart electric vehicle business.
