The guys from Mugen Power emailed me last week asking if I'd like to check out their line-up of extended batteries and so I told them I have around half a dozen smartphones. So they shipped me 4 extended batteries from Hong Kong -- Optimus 2X, HD7, Xperia X10 and Desire, with varying battery capacities for each. As expected of any extended battery packs, these batteries are huge (as in physically huge!) that they practically add twice the size and about 50% more of the weight of the handsets. I requested if they have one for the LG Optimus 2X and I was surprised to see the battery was rated at 4500mAh -- that's like having 3 fully charged batteries inside your handset. They even have a 3800mAh extended battery for the Huawei E585. You can check out all their available extended batteries here. They're not that cheap either -- most of their extended batteries costs about $25 and runs up to $100 for the high-capacity ones. I have yet to test out all these batteries for about a week or two and see if they really pack the power as promised by Mugen.
