This particular model looks like a large AA battery with a curved mid-section. The ports are found at one end of the battery -- a micro-USB port for charging the battery itself and a regular USB port for charging any other device from the battery. The aMagic battery has a maximum charge capacity of 2600mAh which is pretty decent for its size and weight. The guys from Mugen Power emailed me last week asking if I'd like to check out their line-up of extended batteries and so I told them I have around half a dozen smartphones. As expected of any extended battery packs, these batteries are huge (as in physically huge!) that they practically add twice the size and about 50% more of the weight of the handsets.
