Facebook's CEO spoke about the company's direction during TechCrunch's Disrupt conference and gave his thoughts on Facebook's intention to move into search and made it clear that it will not build a branded smartphone. There is a big opportunity in search, evolving to giving a set of answers to a specific question and Facebook is uniquely positioned to do that. Facebook is launching a new game, Your Profile, Your Home where users can build their own virtual home on Facebook and learn how to personalize their account based on their preferences. Through the game users can learn more about the settings of Facebook such as Privacy settings, Advertiser preferences, and security settings. Through Your Profile, Your Home, Facebook hopes that users will have an easy way to find out just how safe and secure their profiles are. Meta has announced new updates to its Teen Accounts program, expanding safety features for young users across Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger.
