Meta, formerly Facebook, Inc, is now opening its doors with its first physical retail store in Burlingame, California this May 9. Dubbed the Meta Store, customers will be able to get to experience hands-on all hardware products Meta has to offer. On top of the news of opening the Meta Store, Meta has also announced that it has made shopping for Meta products online much easier with the introduction of the Shop tab on meta.com. “The Meta Store is going to help people make that connection to how our products can be the gateway to the metaverse in the future. The store is roughly 1,550 square feet and located near Reality Labs HQ, which Meta is helping build the Metaverse with. Facebook is launching a new game, Your Profile, Your Home where users can build their own virtual home on Facebook and learn how to personalize their account based on their preferences. Through the game users can learn more about the settings of Facebook such as Privacy settings, Advertiser preferences, and security settings. Through Your Profile, Your Home, Facebook hopes that users will have an easy way to find out just how safe and secure their profiles are.
