Ookla recently updated their Speedtest Global Index for February 2022 indicating the Philippines’ average mobile download speed at 18.79 Mbps, and average fixed broadband download speed at 49.10 Mbps. Philippines’ mobile internet speeds ranked even lower at 94th with the said download speed, an average upload speed of 5.61Mbps, and 23ms latency. While for the fixed broadband internet speeds, the country is down at 68th ranking with the said average download speed, upload of 46.92Mbps, and 6ms latency. Currently, the country with the fastest mobile internet speeds is the United Arab Emirates with an average of 133.51 Mbps. And the fastest fixed broadband internet for the month is in Chile with 197.59Mbps.
