MediaTek’s next flagship chip is on the horizon. The Taiwanese chipmaker shared a teaser video of the upcoming chipset on Weibo. Specs-wise, the new chip will utilize 1x 3.36GHz Cortex-X925; 3x 2.8GHz Cortex-X4; and 4x 2.1GHz Cortex-A725 CPU cores paired with be Arm’s Immortalis-G925 MC12 GPU. A previous report also claim that the vivo X200 Series will debut the chip with OPPO’s Find X8 Series to follow shortly. MediaTek will launch the Dimensity 9400 flagship SoC on October 9. The realme C100 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G92 Max, while the C100i uses the Unisoc T7250 chipset. Chipset options from leaks suggest the standard nova 16 could use a Kirin 8030, the Pro a Kirin 9010S, and the Ultra a Kirin 9020.
