According to a report from Business Korea, Apple’s foldable iPhone is set to release in the latter half of next year. The report also added that Apple will get the OLED panels for the device from Samsung Display. The foldable iPhone is expected to have a 7.8-inch OLED inner display with an aspect ratio similar to an iPad mini. For pricing, the foldable iPhone is expected to retail between USD 2,100 and USD 2,300. Samsung is expected to launch a new foldable phone called the Galaxy Z Fold Wide this year, but it may already face competition from Huawei. Reports also suggest that Apple is working on its own foldable iPhone, which may use a similar wide design. Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold Wide in July, while Apple’s foldable device may arrive later this year.
