At WWDC 2026, the company confirmed it partnered with Google, using the technologies behind Gemini, to create the next generation of Apple Foundation Models. These models to run on-device and on Apple's Private Cloud Compute servers, meaning the processing happens either on your device or on servers that Apple says do not store or share your data. Group has recently announced that 2022 future Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis lineup models will be powered with NVIDIA DRIVE in-vehicle infotainment systems (IVI). Future models with the NVIDIA DRIVE platform bring in enhanced in-vehicle AI user experience to its users, featuring audio, video, navigation, connectivity, and AI-enhanced connected car services. NVIDIA will enable Hyundai Motor Group to roll out its new connected car operating system (ccOS) across future models. Apple rebuilt the experience around more powerful image models running on Private Cloud Compute. On-device spatial models handle the perspective calculation in real time. Generative models on Private Cloud Compute fill in the areas that were originally outside the frame.
