Samsung has finally added the Galaxy A55 into its One UI 7.0 beta program. Once logged in, simply tap the One UI 7 Beta Program (A55) > then head to Settings > Software Update to download and install the update. Despite a delayed start, the update is a win for A55 users who’ve been waiting for the latest software. Samsung’s upcoming One UI 8.5, based on Android 16 QPR2, will be the final major feature update for several older Galaxy devices, though they’ll continue receiving security patches for some time. According to a report by SamMobile, Samsung's firmware update policies have given us an idea on which Galaxy smartphones and tablets are eligible for the upcoming Android 13 update under Samsung's ONE UI 5.
