Garmin intros its latest entry-level timepiece design for people with active lifestyle called the Forerunner 25. With the Forerunner 25, Garmin basically took what was good with its predecessor, the Forerunner 15, and integrated new features to the GPS running watch whilst keeping its competitive price tag. The new Garmin Forerunner 25 comes two sizes and is available in a variety of colors (black/red, black/blue in a large face, and black/purple and white/pink in a small face). Garmin has expanded its running ecosystem in the Philippines with the launch of the new Forerunner 70 and Forerunner 170 smartwatches, the introduction of Garmin Pay, and the announcement of the 2026 Garmin Run Philippines event. The higher-end Forerunner 170 also supports Garmin Pay, allowing users to make contactless payments directly from their smartwatch. Garmin Pay is now available in the Philippines through partnerships with GoTyme Bank and EastWest Bank, with support for Visa and Mastercard payment networks. Alongside the new wearables, Garmin also announced the return of the Garmin Run Marathon Series in the Philippines.
