Visa has announced the launch of Garmin Pay in the Philippines, allowing users of compatible Garmin smartwatches to make contactless payments using supported Visa cards. Garmin Pay allows users to tap their smartwatch at contactless payment terminals without using a physical card or smartphone. Visa said the Philippines is now the fourth Southeast Asian market to support Garmin Pay after Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia. The company added that the launch expands digital payment options in the country following the rollout of Google Wallet and Google Pay in the Philippines in 2025.
