After a Samsung executive teased it online, the South Korean giant officially introduces its newest smartwatch -- the Gear S2. Dennis Miloseski, a Samsung VP and Head of Studio in Samsung Design America/Head of Samsung Mobile UXCA, posts on his Instagram the yet-to-be-revealed Gear S2 wearable to simply tease what it looks like when worn. Samsung Gear S2 rumored specs: 360 x 360 touchscreen Rotating bezel 1.2GHz Exynos 3472 dual-core processor 450MHz Mali-400 GPU 768MB RAM 4GB internal storage Bluetooth 4.1 GPS Accelerometer/gyro/barometer/hear rate monitor 250mAh battery Tizen OS The Samsung Gear S2 is slated to be launched next week during the 2015 IFA in Berlin. Dubbed the Samsung Galaxy Gear, the device is worn like a digital watch but is a companion device to the Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition. The Galaxy Gear will be available in 6 color variants -- Jet Black, Mocha Gray, Wild Orange, Oatmeal Beige, Rose Gold, and Lime Green. Samsung will sell the Galaxy Gear for $299.
