Google is partnering with CapCut to bring video and image editing tools to the Gemini app. CapCut said users will soon be able to edit photos and videos directly through Gemini using some of its editing features. Google is expanding the creative tools in the Gemini app with the rollout of Lyria 3. Gemini can automatically generate them based on the prompt while also allowing control over style, vocals, and tempo. The Gemini app generates 30-second songs with custom AI-created cover art. Gemini 1.5 Pro is getting a dedicated app, slated to have new and old features all in one place. Google also mentions that the new features are compatible with Gemini’s web version. Gemini 1.5 Pro can now process up to an hour of video content, codebases with more than 30,000 lines of code, and 1,500-page documents.
