Google has unveiled the new Google Home Speaker, its first smart speaker built specifically for Gemini, the company's AI-powered voice assistant. Powered by Gemini for Home, users can speak normally without memorizing specific commands. Google has recently announced that they’re starting to roll out Gemini Live to more users on Android. It is Google’s conversational AI similar to ChatGPT’s voice mode, but previously, it was a paid feature on Gemini Advanced. The said feature offers continued conversations unlike the current Gemini replacement to Google Assistant that needs the users saying “Hey Google” or tapping the mic button every time to trigger it. With Gemini Live, conversations flow naturally, allowing users to interrupt the AI and ask more questions. To access Live, simply tap on the sparkle icon on the bottom-right corner of the Gemini app. Gemini Live initially rolls out on Gemini app for Android phones set in English, with more languages to support soon.
