Globe strengthens its initiative for 5G connectivity. The telco has recently shared that its current LTE SIMs are 5G-ready. Globe and TM subscribers with current prepaid and postpaid LTE SIM cards may enjoy 5G without paying any additional fees or upgrading their SIM cards. Globe said that current LTE SIMs on sale across all Globe stores, the online shop, official dealers, and resellers will be replaced with the new 5G SIMs. Currently, Globe 5G connectivity may be enjoyed by postpaid subscribers in select locations in Metro Manila specifically in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Valero Street in Makati, as well as in Rockwell Center and Gen. Globe also announced that it will add more areas to support 5G connectivity and will bring it to prepaid subscribers. So it's not a surprise that Globe Telecom has dropped its Globe Visibility Mobile Prepaid kit down to just Php3,500. Globe started offering their new prepaid and postpaid plans for Visibility back in June 23 when we first reported it here.
