Globe recently announced that with their Globe At Home broadband service, they are now the first telco provider in the country, and the entire Southeast Asia, to launch the latest WiFi technology available — Fiber-To-The-Room or more commonly called FTTR. What is Globe At Home's Fiber-to-the-Room (FTTR) technology Without being too technical, Globe At Home Fiber-to-the-Room or FTTR technology employs a similar concept, but instead of the nodes connecting to each other wirelessly, they’ll be connected with physical wires. FTTR technology also brings a fiber connection to each key room in the house.
