Globe is holding its first Philippines Mobile Legends Tournament at the Pinoy Gaming Festival 2017. Visitors can take part in activities as well as join gaming events such as Globe Mobile Legends Tournament. Players must bring a mobile device with internet connectivity that can play Mobile Legends and must have a Level 8 account and 5 heroes. Visitors may also get the limited edition Blue Spectre skin by joining the Mobile Legends tournament or by participating in activities held at the Globe Booth. Jollibee, the country's largest food chain known far-and-wide, has collaborated with the Philippines' most-played mobile game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB). When redeemed inside the Mobile Legends app, the code unlocks a mystery reward voucher. Globe has partnered with government agencies to strengthen efforts against mobile-based scams, introducing new tools designed to detect illegal signal activity across the country. In collaboration with the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC), and the Philippine National Police’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), Globe has donated IMSI catcher detectors to help authorities identify and track unauthorized mobile network activity.
