Jollibee, the country’s largest food chain known far-and-wide, has collaborated with the Philippines’ most-played mobile game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB). The fruits of this legendary partnership are the GameJoy x MLBB combos, a multi-phase campaign specifically crafted to merge food, collectibles, and exclusive virtual rewards for the local gaming community.
This massive crossover is rolling out in two distinct waves. The first phase will be kicked off with the introduction of the limited-edition “WOW BIDA” Battle Emote, a custom Jollibee-themed in-game cosmetic that players can flex during active MLBB matches. With the redemption period for the exclusive emote wrapping up on May 20, the partnership is immediately shifting gears into its highly anticipated second phase: the GameJoy Combos.
Running from May 20 all the way through August 19, this second wave is aimed at sustaining momentum through the heart of the summer gaming season.
Jollibee and international video game developer MOONTON Games designed the campaign to cater to everyone from casual players to hardcore rank grinders, focusing heavily on what makes the local gaming culture unique. According to Dorothy Ching, vice president of marketing at Jollibee Philippines, the collaboration is all about creating a rewarding experience that brings together great food, gaming, and everyday moments of joy in a fresh and exciting way.
MOONTON Games also expressed its enthusiasm for the upcoming rollout. Kevin Acuña, head of game publishing business development and partnership at MOONTON Games, noted that Filipino players have been instrumental in shaping MLBB into a true cultural phenomenon. He emphasized that partnering with an iconic local brand like Jollibee allowed them to build a campaign that feels genuinely local, fun, and tailored to how Filipinos naturally enjoy gaming together.
At the core of the second phase is a brand new menu lineup priced at ₱169 each. Knowing that greasy fingers are the ultimate enemy of a high-stakes ranked game, Jollibee curated five handheld, mess-free meal options perfect for eating between respawns. Gamers can choose between a standard Yumburger, a Jolly Hotdog, a Special Cheesy Yumburger, a Crunchy Chicken Sandwich, or an Original Cheesy Yumburger. To complete the gamer-friendly meal set, every single combo is packaged with a regular serving of fries, a regular drink, and the signature Peach Mango Pie.
Most importantly, the real draw for collectors and spec-heads lies in the physical and digital loot packed into every order. Each meal set comes bundled with a special GameJoy x MLBB packet. Inside, buyers will find a physical, collectible MLBB hero card alongside an instruction card containing a unique scratch-off PIN. When redeemed inside the Mobile Legends app, the code unlocks a mystery reward voucher.
The digital prize pool is extensive, offering players a chance to secure rare character skins, battle emotes, hero fragments, and custom avatar borders. For the luckiest players, the drop pool also includes the highly coveted, top-tier grand prize: the MLBB All-Skin Unlock, which grants a player access to the game’s entire premium cosmetic library.
