Globe has now introduced Gadget Xchange which lets users either switch or replace their existing device with an identical or similar model, or different brand, color, and model with 'no-questions asked'. The service is open to all Globe Postpaid customers including Globe Platinum customers as an add-on to their Globe Postpaid Plan with its monthly fee depending on the SRP of the device of their choice. Some things to note include that Globe will not allow users to upgrade to a newer generation or to a device with higher specs as they only allow devices within the same generation and price range. Globe did also note under their FAQs, that Gadget Xchange devices will be 'like-new' devices, meaning that the device may be refurbished, not provided in the original packaging, not include device accessories, and be provided with a 'Not for Resale' packaging.
