Globe has been field testing this service for months now and should be rolling this service out via the GlobeOne app any time soon. Update: Reports from a few subscribers are saying the service is already available in their e-wallet and GlobeOne apps. Globe Telecom sent us an official statement regarding actions taken against offending ads inside the GlobeOne app. This is response to the article we published a couple days ago about a trojan apk we spotted through ads inside the app. Globe has taken immediate action to address concerns raised about third-party advertisements in the GlobeOne app, particularly those related to betting games, online gaming, and similar categories. It is working closely with its advertising vendor to ensure that all advertisements inside the Globe One app are safe and will cause no harm to its customers.
