The rollout of the Gmail blue checkmarks begins on May 3, 2023. Google is integrating its real-time video conferencing software, Meet, into the Gmail Android app. Part of Google's new integrated workspace in G Suite, mobile users can now access Meet within the Gmail app. Functionally, this release is similar to Meet in Gmail for browsers. The feature is turned on by default once users update their Gmail apps.
