Gmail for Android gets new anti-phishing security check

Google announced a new security feature for Gmail on Android to protect users against phishing attempts.

When the update reaches your phone, Gmail will start to show a pop-up warning whenever you click a suspicious link in an email. Still, Google encourages users to be extra careful about clicking on links within an email that they are not familiar.

The feature will gradually roll out to all user, so it may take a few days to reach some. Currently, the feature is coming to Gmail on Android only with no mention of any update for iOS.
