So it has now been finally revealed -- the Google Drive service that has been rumored for years is now made official. Google Drive allows you to store any kind of files, even the really big ones, to the cloud and then give you the option to synchronize all of them to your laptop, PC or phone (Android, Windows & Mac) with support for iOS coming soon. The app is now available at the Google Play Store (just search for Google Drive) and integrates neatly with the sharing features of your Android smartphone. On your PC, Google Drive appears as a folder which you can just drag-and-drop files into. It's nice that when I logged in to my Google Drive account, I also have access to the same amount of storage. To access Google Drive, just go to drive.google.com/start. At WWDC 2026, the company confirmed it partnered with Google, using the technologies behind Gemini, to create the next generation of Apple Foundation Models. Rather than relying strictly on its own hardware, Apple is looking to rely on Google's Gemini AI model running on NVIDIA’s latest Blackwell B200 data center graphics chips.
