As Google transitions away from Assistant to Gemini, the virtual assistant is now able to play YouTube Music. Google Gemini is now able to to play music, playlists, playback history, and users' preferences through YouTube Music. This can be activated through Google Gemini's extensions (or the link here). Users need to make sure that their Google account is the same with their Gemini and YouTube Music. With this, users may ask Google Gemini to play a song or artist through the phone's assistant. The update also deepens integration with Google services like Gmail, Maps, Calendar and YouTube. Google is expanding its AI-powered Gemini experience in Chrome to more users across the Asia Pacific region, including the Philippines. The tool also connects with Google services, enabling actions such as drafting emails in Gmail, checking locations in Maps, scheduling events in Calendar, and asking questions about YouTube videos.
