Google confirms it will roll out Android 17 Beta 1 update soon, eligible first for  Pixel devices. The announcement came shortly after the release of Android 16 QPR3 Beta 2.1, indicating that Google’s next major Android update is already underway. Google states that Android 17 Beta 1 will deliver three main improvements through its upcoming update, which include bug fixes, performance enhancements, and system stability improvements. If you don’t want to install the beta, Google advises opting out of the program now and ignoring the “Downgrade” update to avoid data loss. End-to-end encrypted Apple and Google RCS messaging is rolling out in beta after an effort by Apple and Google to improve secure texting. Google Meet is starting to roll out on Android Auto, bringing video call access to car displays, although with some notable limitations.
