Google has officially revealed the Google Pixel 10a. The Pixel 10a features a 6.3-inch FHD+ Actua pOLED display with a 60-120Hz refresh rate and up to 3000 nits peak brightness. Powering the device is the Google Tensor G4 processor paired with the Titan M2 security coprocessor. Pricing for the Google Pixel 10a starts at USD 499 for the 128GB model. Google has confirmed that AirDrop-style sharing between Android and Apple devices will soon be available on more Android phones, not just Pixel models. During a press briefing, Eric Kay, Google’s vice president of engineering for Android, said that support for Quick Share with Apple’s AirDrop will expand to “a lot more” Android devices this year. Right now, this feature only works on Google’s Pixel 10 series. Google says it spent time making sure the system works smoothly across Apple devices before bringing it to more Android brands.
