Google’s latest AI upgrade just landed on the Play Store, and it’s about to make app shopping a lot easier. Interestingly, Apple beat Google to the punch earlier this year, adding a similar AI review feature to the App Store back in April. Sony has announced that it will gradually shut down the PlayStation Store for the PlayStation 3 (PS3) and PlayStation Vita (PS Vita). Sony has announced in their blog post that they are shutting down the PlayStation Store for the PS Vita and PS3. The rollout will begin in August 2026 when the PS3 PlayStation Store closes in Mexico, Honduras, and Nicaragua. In all remaining countries, the PlayStation Store for both the PS3 and PS Vita will close in July 2027. Once the store closes, players will no longer be able to buy games, DLCs or other digital content on these devices. According to Sony, the closure is necessary due to the PS3 and PS Vita platforms can no longer support the modern payment processing and commerce systems used by the PlayStation Store.
