Turns out Google has been working on a similar project for 2 years. Called the Project Wing, the project has been around since 2012 over at their research lab in Google X. There was some sort of mass panic last night when Google was spewing a warning "this site may harm your computer" on all their search results. Eligible users can activate the trial through the Google One app by following the on-screen instructions.
