Telegram has launched a dedicated app for Wear OS smartwatches, bringing full chat access, voice messages, and chat management tools directly to users' wrists. The new Wear OS app also marks Telegram's return to Google's smartwatch platform after removing its previous Wear OS app from the Play Store in 2021. The launch expands Telegram's support for wearable devices and gives Wear OS users another way to stay connected without relying entirely on their phones. The Telegram Wear OS app is now available for supported smartwatches running Google's Wear OS platform. Perhaps most exciting, the OnePlus Watch 2 is rumored to run Google's latest Wear OS platform out of the box. Wear OS 3, the next iteration of Google’s smartwatch operating system is just around the corner and screenshots provide a sneak peek of what is to come. 9to5Google had originally noticed these new images of Wear OS 3 in the context of Samsung’s One UI on its Galaxy Watch 4. Some features coming to Wear OS 3 based on the screenshots include a redesign of Google’s Assistant UI in Wear OS 3.
