MediaTek, a semiconductor company that produces chipsets mainly for smartphones, is expected to roll out their new Helio P70 chip this October. According to reports, the Helio P70 will be similar to its predecessor, the Helio P60, sporting a 12nm architecture, four ARM Cortex-A73 cores and another four ARM Cortex-A53 cores with Mali-G72 GPU. Along with the Lenovo S90 and A5000 smartphones, Lenovo also launched the Lenovo P70 - a 5-inch mid-ranger with MediaTek octa-core CPU, Dual-SIM support with LTE connectivity, and a solid battery capacitiy of 4000mAh. On hand, the Lenovo P70 is chunkier than the S90 at 8.9mm and hefty at 149g.
