Both processors also feature up to 900 MHz higher die-to-die frequency, which helps improve communication between parts of the chip. This software layer helps improve performance in certain games by optimizing how the processor handles instructions, even if the software was originally optimized for another processor or platform. The processors support DDR5 memory speeds up to 7200 MT/s, with support for memory overclocking up to 8000 MT/s through compatible BIOS profiles. Intel said the processors will start at $299 for the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and $199 for the Core Ultra 5 250K Plus.
