At launch, HOOQ will have a catalog of over 10,000 movies and TV series including titles from partners. The service will offer customers a wide variety of programs that they can stream, download and enjoy, ranging from blockbusters such as Spider-Man and Harry Potter to TV favorites such as Friends and Gossip Girl. ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation, GMA Network, Viva Entertainment and Regal Films have partnered with HOOQ to provide local content. The service is launching first in the country through partner mobile network Globe Telecom. Users who are not currently with Globe's network can also subscribe to the service for a different fee, to be announced in the future. As for the date we can all enjoy this new service, it will come "Very soon," according to now HOOQ CEO Peter Bithos.
