This Stream Mini PC from HP looks interesting as it reminded us of the ECS LIVA Mini PC we bought last year in Taiwan. The Stream Mini PC has a much more appealing design though. Powered by an Intel Celeron 2957U @ 1.4GHz and 2GB of RAM with 32GB SSD, the mini PC runs on Windows 8.1 with Bing. HP has not formally launched the new Mini Note 1000 but Villman & PC Corner has already listed the netbook on their site with a suggested retail price of Php21,950. PC Corner's listing sets the price at Php21,950 while Villman has the HP Mini 1001TU for Php21,948 at zero percent (0%) interest for 12 months. HP is introducing a new line of netbooks as an update to its Mininote 2133. This time the HP Mini Note 1000 drops the sluggish Via processor for an Intel Atom CPU. Spotted on the homepage of the HP Shopping site, the Mini 1000 will start at $399.99 for the basic specs.
