A month after the HTC One M9+ made its debut in Japan, the Taiwanese firm continues its streak of launching region-specific iterations of the HTC One M9 with the latest one being the HTC One ME which is one of the first Helio X10-powered smartphone to reach the market. Without the iPhone, we would not have seen the likes of Samsung Instinct, Omnia i900, HTC Touch Diamond, LG Dare and Sony-Ericsson Xperia this early. I had 4 most likely candidates as a great iPhone alternative -- the HTC Touch Diamond, Nokia N96, Samsung i900 Omnia and the Sony-Ericsson Xperia. Some specs, like that of the iPhone's processor and RAM/ROM are not totally confirmed and were based on pieces of hardware clues taken from disassembled parts. I had mixed feelings after trying out the HTC Touch Dual phone several weeks ago. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm MSM 7200, 400 MHz processor running Windows Mobile 6 and is compatible with all of the usual HTC accessories.
