Huawei Philippines has officially launched its latest smartphone under the nova series, the Huawei nova 8. The Huawei nova 8 sports a 6.57-inch Curved OLED Display with a 90Hz refresh rate, Huawei Kirin 820E processor, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, and a 3,800mAh battery w/ 66W Huawei SuperCharge. Those who will avail of the nova 8 during its pre-order period will receive freebies including Huawei 1200 40W SuperCharge power bank (PHP 3,990) and Huawei Cloud benefits (worth up to PHP 2,038). Huawei has teased the launch of two new smartphones in the Philippine market, the nova8 and the nova 8i. In December 2020, the Huawei nova 8 was unveiled in China, sporting a 6.57-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a Huawei Kirin 985 octa-core CPU, 8GB of RAM, 128GB or 256GB of storage, and a 3,800mAh battery. On the other hand, last month, the nova 8i's specs have been revealed, including a 6.67 FHD+ Huawei Edgeless display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 octa-core CPU, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 4,300mAh battery. Huawei is launching the nova 16 series in China on June 1, and the company has already pulled the curtain on what the phones look like. Huawei has teased the nova 16 Pro in Sky Blue and an Iridescent gradient colorway.
